Leading US Manufacturer of
Heavy Duty Hinges & Door Operators

  • Series I - Group image

Heavy Duty Hinges are fabricated from 1018 cold rolled steel. Barrel and leaf sections are joined with full penetration x-ray quality welds that meet AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code. Machining to precise tolerances after the welding process, assures repeatability and more accurate hinge alignment. They are assembled with precision bearings and hinge pin internal components that reduce wear and friction. The results: a reliable hinge with increased load-life that will allow doors weighing several hundred pounds to be operated by the touch of a finger!

  • Series W Capacities From 1000-20 000 lbs

Heavy Duty Hinges are fabricated from 1018 cold rolled steel (Optional 304 sst). Barrel and leaf sections are joined with full penetration x-ray quality welds that meet AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code. Machining to high precision tolerances after the welding process, assures repeatability and more accurate hinge alignment. They are assembled with anti-friction needle roller bearings to transfer radial and thrust loads, a hardened precision ground alloy steel hinge pin of aerospace quality. The non-removable hinge pin is Armoloy® coated for additional corrosion protection and a lower coefficient of friction. An oil seal protects the hinge internals in more severe environments. The results: a maintenance free, reliable hinge allows doors weighing several thousand pounds to be operated by the touch of a finger!
The Series W features (+/- 1/8") adjustment in the thrust direction with a set screw located at the top of the hinge:
      1) Doors can be adjusted within their frames after installation.
      2) Load distribution between a set of hinges can be accomplished; thus, increasing load-life on thrust bearings.

  • CPH

For use on any heavy door or gate that requires center pivot action or a concealed pivot.

  • Series-K---Left-Hand

Full surface mounting with capacities from 75,000 to 175,000 lbs. Special hinge pin offset provides for added security and swing clear characteristics.

  • Series Lift

For applications that require the door to raise during opening. Commonly used on acoustical doors.
